For the Commando you can use any gun because your skill tree for your Axton can enhance all weapon damages but overall the Siren and the Gunzerker are the best characters in the game but all characters are good in a certain way. For the Mechromancer you can just use any shock weapons because her skill tree can help you do massive shock damage. Krieg and Zero can just use melee builds with the Rapier or any bladed weapon. This is also only for the Siren and the Gunzerker because the Assassin,Mechromancer,Commando and Psycho builds are pretty basic builds.
