Basically, I found locations to farm gems that are extremely close to Bonfires and are fast to reach and return to the Bonfire from.
These are all locations and enemies that I had gems drop from myself, not that someone told me 'maybe dropped'. This is all from personal experience, not guessing. I would happily replace my info with yours if it turns out to be better. This is just from my personal experience, so if you've found a better spot, PLEASE let me know. So I was farming for Gems to infuse my weapons, and thought I should share what I found with all of you.
